This artwork is inspired by the sometimes turmoil and unrest in our minds.
We don’t know what to do, our head is in our hands, our eyes are closed and everything is swirling around in one huge mess.
The angry cloud ridden sky and the choppy sea represent these thoughts but, Love is rowing in a small boat in the middle of all of this and trying desperately not to let the water in for fear of drowning in it all.
Then, in all the darkness there is a light, a light of hope that beams and cuts through the darkness and guides a path through to a safe place, a loving place where, you find Hope waiting for you.
The light illuminates the four hearts, these hearts represent people that are special to you ‘bobbing’ around in the waves, keeping you from crashing into the rocks and bringing you safely to the shore.
