Description:
The woodland and nature has always given me peace and is my ‘go to’ place whenever I need to gather my thoughts away from the bustle of life. I have been lucky enough to work in areas where I have had such places, certainly in more recent years. Within the woodlands there are all sorts of treasures that are hidden beneath the canopy, the sapphire like colours of the bluebells that carpet the floor, the glistening whites and beautiful aroma of the wild garlic and the yellow of the cowslip calling you to look closer.
This artwork was inspired from when I was a child playing “Hide and Seek’ in a local woodland with my friends and then later in life discovering new woods to play and discover with my partner.
